Austria: Another Points-Scoring Weekend for Roman Bilinski in FIA Formula 2

The FIA Formula 2 weekend at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg was another solid performance from Roman Bilinski during the 2026 season. The DAMS Lucas Oil driver finished both races inside the points-scoring positions, confirming his strong race pace and consistency while competing against a highly competitive field.

Sprint Race

In Saturday’s Sprint Race, Bilinski delivered a very effective performance and demonstrated excellent race instinct and reactions. Starting from the middle of the grid, the Polish-British driver consistently moved forward and capitalised on rivals’ mistakes during a chaotic race at the Red Bull Ring.

Roman maintained strong pace throughout the race distance, performed well in wheel-to-wheel battles, and eventually finished in 7th place, scoring more valuable points towards his FIA Formula 2 championship tally.

Feature Race

In Sunday’s Feature Race, Bilinski once again fought for points. Roman delivered a consistent performance, managed his pace well, and remained competitive in the middle of a very tightly matched field.

The DAMS Lucas Oil driver was classified in 10th place, securing another point in the 2026 season.

The Austrian weekend confirmed Bilinski’s growing consistency in FIA Formula 2 — with each round of the season, Roman is increasingly fighting for points and maintaining competitive pace against more experienced drivers.
